Andrew and I met one Sunday at the Ocean Drive in Sea Isle City at the New Jersey shore. Like most Sunday’s at the Ocean Drive, Secret Service was playing and it was “No Shower Happy Hour,” meaning everyone comes directly from the beach to the Ocean Drive. I walked outside to get some fresh air and Andrew was standing there with a group of friends and we immediately locked eyes and started talking. I couldn’t stop smiling at him because he had the most beautiful blue eyes with the longest eyelashes. Andrew smiled at me when I walked outside because I was wearing a bright yellow dress and had been all done-up rather than coming directly from the beach. It was love at first sight and we have been inseparable ever since.
Our favorite thing to do is attend events with our friends throughout Philadelphia – everything from gala’s to food and beverage festivals. We also enjoy hosting our friends for dinner parties at our home and traveling with them to the Poconos during the summer and winter months for outdoor activities. We love to travel and sightsee so we always make it a point to plan at least one long weekend vacation away from home every month.
We chose the Stroudsmoor Inn because it is truly the wedding venue that every bride dreams of finding. It has breathtaking mountain views, superb staff, five star food, a florist and beauty salon are on site. It has charming hotel accommodations for your guests and there is even a wedding store where you can purchase your save the dates, invitations, card boxes and seating cards. On top of being a five star one-stop shop for any bride and groom, the staff treats you like family.
If I were to plan my big day all over again, I would not even hesitate for a second to choose the Stroudsmoor Inn. In my opinion, it is the absolute best wedding venue in Pennsylvania. I would go as far as saying it is easily one of the top in the country. To this day, I have not had one person tell me a single negative comment. I can’t even keep track of the amount of people who have said, “We have been to some great weddings but yours was unforgettable, that venue was perfect.”
