Latest Wedding Trend, The After Party

The ceremony was beautiful. The reception had great food, good music, and we cut the cake. After all the pomp and circumstance, now many couples just want to PARTY! The latest trend is the wedding after-party. After the reception, a smaller group of your best friends and closest family stick around to party into the night.

In last week’s Wedding Warrior, Frankie Carll told us the importance of picking great wedding entertainment to make great wedding memories. The after-party lets couples let their hair down and unbutton the tux and enjoy the celebration.

At our next Wedding Sampling Event this November, we are highlighting THE AFTER-PARTY!  The party is not over until the stroke of midnight, so plan the reception to end earlier and bring on the extended hours of the after-party with the closest family and friends . . . or invite the whole guest list.

Your Stroudsmoor Event Planner will help you with one of many options for extending the celebrating.  One of the newest options for additional hours of service is the SCI Pavilion – a casual outdoor environment featuring bar options including seasonal craft beers and a selection of classic comfort foods.  Many have enjoyed its market lights, warm fire or lawn games as part of their wedding celebration.
