How and where you did you meet?
Jon and I had our first date at the Keystone Pub enjoying wings and drinks.
What was your first impression of one another, and the day you knew you would be together forever?
Jon’s first impression was that Gabby was kind, funny, intelligent, and driven in her career. Gabby’s first impression was that Jon was handsome, mature, and personable. Jon knew Gabby was the one during a mundane grocery trip when everything felt perfect being with Gabby. Gabby knew that she and Jon were meant to be together after their first vacation together when she didn’t want to leave his side.
Tell us about the proposal?
Jon proposed during a relaxing fall beach trip to Cape May, NJ. He proposed on the beach on one of the last days much to Gabby’s surprise.
Tell us what led you to Stroudsmoor and your reason for celebrating at the Inn?
We have been to many weddings and had a good understanding of what we were looking for in a wedding venue. After our first visit to the Stroudsmoor, we knew it was the venue for us. The beauty of the property, professionalism, and experience of the staff at the Stroudsmoor was reassuring.
What was the one menu and décor detail you loved most about your celebration?
We loved the surf and turf! Many venues struggle with quality of food when serving hundreds. However, our guests absolutely raved about the hors d’oeuvres and dinner. We loved the options available to us with floral and décor to make our wedding uniquely ours.
What made your Stroudsmoor Wedding Journey most memorable?
Our guests loved the location – with a beautiful backdrop and sunset. The bridal party loved the staff’s attentiveness and attention to detail on our special day.
