We chose the Stroudsmoor Country Inn’s Lawnhaven venue for our September 1, 2024, wedding. It is a beautiful setting and easy to access for any guests with mobility problems.

Our wedding planner, Malia Kasperkevic, was professional, informative and so helpful to us when we were choosing an officiant, photographer, and DJ.

We stayed at the Inn the night before the wedding and the night of it. On our wedding eve, we were treated to a surprise, private champagne dinner, thanks to Malia’s request. We then retired to our cozy room at the main Inn.

We selected Journeys of the Heart’s Susanne Wilson for our officiant, initially meeting with her to discuss our preferences, then communicating by email to help her create the ceremony that we wished from readings that she provided. Our guests remarked on how inclusive and thoughtful she was.

For our photographer and DJ, we hired Frankie Carll Productions. We first met with Mr. Carll to review our music choices, and he selected Corey for our photographer and Ricky for our DJ. Both were professional, personable and fun. Corey made us feel at ease through our photo shoots. Ricky got everyone up and dancing, and also played all of our requests.

The hors d’oeuvres were spectacular, and the dinners and cake were delicious and beautifully presented. The servers and bartenders were attentive and considerate of any special needs or requests made by our guests.

Our floral arrangements were lovely, and the centerpiece flowers were able to be taken home by our guests. The colors of my bouquet and the groom’s boutonniere were matched by the ones in our centerpieces.

I used the Stroudsmoor’s salon for my hair and makeup. Gina did a terrific job incorporating my baby’s breath headpiece into my styled hair and made me up in an understated fashion as suited me very well.
