Your Wedding Journey Part 4: Memories of Your Best Day Ever

When the plans have been made, and the dust has settled from the most wonderful celebration of your life, here are ways to remember your wedding day for years to come.

What everyone says is true; the wedding day will pass by in the blink of an eye.

It will go by in a flash, be but an instant in your married life, and feel like a fraction of a second when you reach the end of the day. As a result of these feelings, finding ways to remember the wedding day must be paramount.  Consider some or all of these options to remember every detail.

Step 10 – Remembering the Wedding Day

Revisit the location of the proposal – and reflect on the journey to the wedding day.

  • Premier the wedding video – invite family and friends to the first showing and see the day through their eyes.
  • Share wedding photos on social platforms – and rejoice in comments made by family and friends.
  • Plan the honeymoon for months later – and allow the memories of the wedding to settle in before creating new ones.
  • Arrange to recite the wedding vows at each anniversary, revisit the wedding venue annually, and recall the walk from the altar that declared the marriage official.

Onward and upward for the rest of your happily ever after.
